It's Been a While

The past few months have been pretty hectic. I feel it all would best be summed up in pictures. Here is Part 1. Part 2 will follow. :D

We made 5 of these coloring posters and hung them on the wall for Sara's 7th birthday party. We also made little coloring books as favors along with magical unicorn dust and too much candy. I plan to post a free download of the coloring book we made. Fun fact: Sara and I (Katey) share the same birthday - November 14th! Scorpios!! :D


For my birthday I got new Schminke watercolors. Oh. My. God. They are amazing! Lots of painting followed.


Then this little nugget, Emilia Isabelle, was born at a tiny 4lbs. She is Sara's new baby cousin. I am in love with her!


There was a lot of blue tape and watercolor action. Yes, this is how I do the birthchart paintings. :)

There were sickies and sniffles! :(

Then we visited my parents in Santa Fe for Thanksgiving. The picture above is of a wall in my mom's studio. It's HEAVENLY. She has the best taste of anyone I've ever met. Check out her Pinterest!

Then Christmas. I got to be Santa Claus for the first time ever. Fun!
